Habitat from Observation:
At the edge of a muddy, wet spring in the bottom Monighan Canyon near aspen groves. A single clump of nettles was growing in the shade of a juniper tree, beside some small currant bushes and one Rudbeckia lacinata. Very moist soil. Several Sidalcea neomexicana were blooming in the immediate vicinity. Elevation approximately 8005 ft.
